Our vision
A compassionate, self-reliant rural society where every person, whatever their age, faith or circumstance, can live with health, knowledge and dignity, united as one family.
About us
A people's organisation from Surulia, Purulia, inspired by Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
Our story
In the villages of Purulia, a sudden illness at night, an elder living alone, or a bright child without books can change a family's life. SNEHO Foundation was formed by people of this soil who believed they could do something about it, together.
On 9 July 2021, we adopted our Memorandum of Association and registered as a society under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961. Our objects are broad because life's needs are broad: education, healthcare, care for the elderly and needy, livelihood, the environment, disaster relief, and the culture that holds a community together.
Today our 24×7 helpline offers ambulance and emergency support, and we are building our other programmes step by step with the help of volunteers and well-wishers.
